Coastal Living development is located on the gorgeous West Coast of the Peninsula Azuero in Veraguaz.

Santiago, the capital of Veraguas is the nearest city. This town offers several shopping opportunities and banks such as Banco General, Multi Credit Bank, BanIstmo, Caja de Ahorros, Banco Nacional de Panama and Credit Corp Bank. Several restaurants are located here. Presently the city has approximately 75 thousand inhabitants.

Santiago is also a marketing center for rice, coffee, corn, livestock and other products from the highlands. It has a modern bus terminal, where you can find buses to take you to the different cities around the country. The buses to Panama City are scheduled to leave every 30 minutes during the day. An airport is now being built to accomodate people who wish to fly in, instead of driving in.

The city’s saint is Apostle Santiago. His day is celebrated on the 25th of July every year. It includes catholic walks, parades ,parties and folkloric shows. This celebration is not just a religious celebration but is also an opportunity to celebrate the history of the town and its legacy within the Panamanian culture.

Veraguas has various national parks. The CoibaNational Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site (with the largest coral reef of the Pacific Coast of America), Cerro Hoya National Park (covers the southwest part of the Azuero peninsula and the sea which surrounds it), Santa Fe National Park (a wonderful virgin forest in the northern region of the province), La Yeguada Forest reserve (with a great artificial lake for the production of electricity) and El Montuoso Forest reserve.
